Ok i picked up a fan, and it has the 3 connecter slot and it has i guess a molex adaptor so you could plug in the power molex into the fans wiring and then plug it into what ever you need in this case it would be the hd. Would it be harmful to the hd if i did this. It is using i guess 12v to the fan now do to increase of voltage.

Thanks i just didnt know if it would interfer with the hd.
