i have read so many diffrent ways to have the pins , can any one let me know the proper way to have the pins. i have read #6 & #4 must be removed or just #4. i have v1.6b and i am useing a xodus sp universal v1.6 solderless adapter with a Xecuter 3 CE ModChip any help is greatfull thanx in advance

if its a solderless adpaptor you shouldn't need to remove any pins, thats the point of a solderless
adpator? not to sure if it applies to a 1.6 though

Yes, those pins would have to be removed if you were using the pin header (solder) method. If you're using a solderless adapter, leave it alone.

thanx Boddah. i got the solderless adapter installed but when i went to put on my mod chip the adapter has all pins and my mod all except one and it is coverd to were it wont let me put it on for this hole if filled

i got my solderless adapter installed but now when o go to put on my mod one of the holes is coverd over,
on the adapter 1 - 16 pins show and on my mod it will only let me use 15 holes

never mind i just cut off the exxtra pin and it works fine. now im onto the next step of this project smile.gif
