I was looking through the tutorials on converting old controllers (nes/snes/genesis) to work on xbox and found that in the other tutorials they used a Duke. Since i am using a controller i wanted to know if the points indicated in this tutorial: http://cparsell.googlepages.com/addextrabu...urs-controller2 will work.So i would like to use a vga cable to connect up those points onto the points on another controller. Thanks

there is a tut for the s specifically, you wont be able to find shit on the s if you try to follow the tut for the duke. There is a tut if you are willing to buy the parts where you can convert the parts to use a normal xbox cable instead of going through a controller.

here ya go

Thats a similar sort of topic to what i linked to and have read. I just want confirmation on whether if i from the points indicated in that tut to a nes controller will that work. Im dont know why it shouldnt but all the other tuts specifically for old school controller porting use different controllers. Thanks for the info so far smile.gif

yea it works fine, somebody else wrote a VGA mod for all the retro controllers sounds like exactly what you want

the xbox is basically usb just in a diff shape, you simply connect the wires correctly and you can put it on an xbox.

you wont need b or w, just up down left right l r a b x y
