Hi, I have an unmodded xbox with error 21, I have tried hotswapping without any success, does anybody have some suggestions that might help me out.

How fast does the switch have to be from the xbox to the pc?

I have been trying to hotswap for 3 days and still no success. I think I have a 1.6 xbox (manufactured in Novemeber 2004 I believe)

Easiest way I found was unplug the yellow cable fromt he DVD drive, it'll go to an error screen (forget which number), but that doesn't matter because by this time the HDD is unlocked. I found this easier than the whole "play a song" method.



As fast as you can possibly do it.
