I was wanting to know if the Plextor 760 is going to work with the 360 for backups. Any help with this is apprecitated.

Do you plan on buying one or do you own one, cause if you are planning, then you should just really consider getting a Pioneer 111D burner with verbatim discs. That combo will work for sure.

But it also depends, if you have a samsung 360 drive then I am sure that burner would be great, if you have Hiatchi, then I am not sure.

If you already own the burner your describing, then you might as well and burn one backup to test it out. If you don't have any dual layer discs, then just buy like a 3 pack of some like verbatims.

I just received my Pioneer 111 today and was wanting to also get a Plextor for another system and I liked the 760 so I thought if it would work than sweet. The drive in my 360 is a Samsung and the memorex dl that I have are no working for backups so I will be going out to get some Verbatims and give those a shot.
