Hi guys, I have a PAL Xbox modded with an Xecuter 2.6. I just hooked it up to my new 26" Samsung LCD (big brother of the 360 Demo Pod Screen). I heard the default Xbox dashboard had an option to change the HiDef settings if I changed the video mode to NTSC using Enigmah. So I did that and then went into the Xbox Dashboard via EvoX. I went to the video section but couldnt find any HD settings (I figured this was because I didnt have the component cable plugged in yet). Anyway I was bored so I looked through some random settings and I saw a Video Mode setting which had three options (Normal, Letterbox and Widescreen). Since my LCD is a widescreen TV I figured that I should change this setting to Widescreen. So I selected this option then the screen instantly went black and a static noise came through the speakers. I restarted the Xbox and all seemed to work fine, until I tried to go back into the stock MS dashboard. It was giving an Error 21.

Any ideas as to why this happened?

Have no idea why it happened but you probably corrupted a file on the dashboard. Just reformat the hard drive with an Auto Installer and you should be ready to go.

I tried deleting the MSDashboard files and transferred a copy of them from one of my other xboxes to no avail grr.gif

This auto-installer is taking an age to download but its nearly here thankfully

Anyone else got suggestions?
