Just a few questions. Sorry in advance if this is the wrong forum.
Uhm i orderd my XCM clear casea few days ago. I am planning to do a nice falme design to show the spinning DVD and a flmae pattern cut around my xbox. I will paint the main X red along with the bottom and front and leave the vents clear for LEDs.
Is this case safe to cut? Will there be any cracks ro breakages? Does anyone know what kind of plastic this is made of, Lexan, Acrylic or FFm?
Thanks,
~Aaron~

The plastic should be ok to cut, from what I've read it's made from ABS plastic.

yeah from what i hear the XCM plastic is of a similar quality to the original xbox case, unlike cheaper imitation cases which could break

yea xcm's are safe to cut, unlinke those 25 dollar clear acrylic i believe, i had one, drilled 4 holes in it and they cracked right away, cheap stuff, but xcm's will not crack on you when cutting, either way post pics of your progress, sounds like a badass project
