I recently upgraded from an 80 GB to 160 GB HDD in the Xbox.

Now all my movies and games are on the 80 GB and someone sudgested putting it in the PC as a slave drive and ftping it over to my Xbox with the 160 GB drive.

I connected it as a slave drive but Device Manager doesnt seem to find it. Maybe because its locked...? Can this really be done, and how?

Get the eeprom from your Xbox and unlock it.

Get Xplorer360 and then try reading your HD in Windows.

Or you could just plug in your old drive in your box, ftp to your comp, then hook up your new hd and ftp it back from the computer, takes a while but still works.
