Please help me. I have some of my divx and xvid movies which play just fine on my pc but when I try to watch them with XBMP 2.3 i have audio problems i.e. the sound plays but it is very disturbed.

This problem only happened with a couple of movies, the rest play relly well.

are you using most current version? i.e. what CVS release are you using?

could be solved by upgrading to latest CVS release . . .

xbmp_2.3_cvs_compile_xbins_5-1-03.zip

I'm quite a N00b and therefore I don't know what cvs version I have or what to do to get the latest version. Can someone please help me out? Thanx!

the build information is usually in the top left hand corner of XBMP when it firts loads.

i say usually as this can be switched off.

when you get hold of a CVS build . . .

an example way of installing . . .

just unzip CVS build to your PC . . . edit config.xml to your setup requirements . . . then
FTP to where XBMP resides on your xbox HDD . . . overwrite when prompted.

if you have added a new XBMP skin, the chances are this will be overwriiten. re-install skin or backup prior to installing new CVS build
