I have noticed that my Xbox shuts down after being idle for several hours. For example, I'll leave it on, at the dashboard, and go to bed. In the morning, it's off. It looks like it shuts off after a couple of hours.

I don't have a problem with temperature and have AutoTurnOff set to 0.

What is shutting this down?

you might have to go to the MS dashboard to change the auto off settings. even tho you might not have the msdash on your xbox, the settings stay. I remeber i didnt have the msdash anymore but when i tried to play a dvd that was rated R it told me i couldnt because someone put on the parental controls.
