So i was hit with a power surge or something two nights ago. Xbox wasnt on, but it was affected. Now it wont turn on. Tested the power cord with a volt meter, it works. So im thinking...that its the PSU board. After inspecting it, i didnt find any signs of it being burnt out. I dont smell anything either.

My question:
Can the PSU board be bunrt out without showing any signs of bunt circuitry? Has anyone ever had a burnt out PSU board with out seeing any physical burnt circuitry?

Thanks
Jp

sounds like the fuse did its job. find a replacement fuse in the BST area... or just buy a new PSU if you cant solder. its not really worth it to send it to me unless its just the PSU
