Here's the situation: I tryed to get into the ms dashboard but I get the error message 13. I can still load games and have a softmod installer on Mechassualt. I tried to return my xbox to stock but for some reason it didn't work. Then I tryed to reinstall the softmod but I'm stuck on the nkpatcher.06. The error message says action:rename. I have action replay and want to get my ms dashboard back without opening my xbox.

Any help would be good!!!!!!!!1

I was also wondering if any body knew about the xbox haveing a restore program in there system infomation

so can you boot any games? can you get ftp access?

You need to get the stock C drive files for the Xbox. Make sure it has the latest dash, 5960 I think.

I take it you didn't back up anything to your PC.

Boot up Mech Assault and run the exploit. You will get FTP access. Delete everything in the C drive then FTP the stock C drive files over. Delete everything in the E drive except the Cache, Tdata and Udata folders.

Reboot the Xbox and it will be stock.

Next time try Krazie's Ndure 1.1.1 it is pretty hard to mess that up.

No but I did backup my eeprom thingy

what softmod did you use originally? because krayzies ndure softmod will have backed up your original c:\ files automatically.

The stock files are in most autoinstallers.

well, the newer ones anyway. ive only used krayzies and the older uxe installer didnt backup core files.

I mean autoinstallers such as slayers will have the stock c drive.

oh, yeah, youre right. i was implying that if he used an updated softmod (he appears to be using a MA gamesave exploit) that his original files might still be on his xbox, just in a backup folder.

It did backup my files but my save somehow got damaged so when I tryed to restore my settings it didn't work. Anyway, how do I get these files off of the autoinstallers? More specif Slayer Auto Installer 2.6

Well once you have the slayers 2.6 ISO you can extract them from System/all/C

I use (Ultraiso) to extract from ISOs..You can find ultraiso at download.com
