hi guys, ..

sorry if i appear to be a bit lazy in doing searches for this around the net... but just in case any of u have done this, ... well, i am kinda interested in taking out the bits and pieces of a old vcd player that i have, to put in a mini-itx m/b, processor etc etc along with a dvd-rom to play my vcds, divx, mp3, dvds whatever...

The hardware part i have it covered basically but not the software part though...
any of u know of any exisiting linux (preferably) players where i could simply put in a dvd/vcd/divx/mp3 disc, be it iso, or whatever format and it would autoplays?... no need for interface as i plan to connect a parallel port from the m/b to a small lcd screen much like a normal player that u could buy...

any linux ideas around ?

regards
