I've always been confused about wetsanding, and how you should do it. Do you stick a piece of sandpaper into the water/soap solution, then start sanding? Or do you put a little bit of water on the area you're going to sand and then sand it? Thanks for the help.

so many ways to do it.
turn on your faucet.
put the plastic in the sink with water running on it.
sand.



this is what i do.

I get a bucket of warm water with some dish detergent so everything's soapy and lubricated

Then I wet my sand paper (3M Imperial Wetordry) in the soapy solution... dump some on the area I'm wetsanding and sand.

As aforementioned... many methods. Use the one you like best.

I also use a bucket and dip the paper in, but I try to pick up a lot of water when i dip the paper in then kinda let it drip on the plastic to get it wet.

lol, when i did mine last night, i hopped into the shower with the pieces that needed to be sanded, put some shampoo on the sandpaper, and sanded away while i took a shower. You see many different methods. I'll probably take another shower with the case and do some more sanding.

I was actually waiting for someone to say that, because that's what I do. I have this funnel that comes off of the showerhead and goes to a tube that connects to my 360 watercooling tubes, and I use gravity to watercool my 360. I hate that I can only play it while in the shower, though. I can only do like 1/24 of a quest in Oblivion, but strangely it gives me just enough time to be called a " n**ga motherf*cker beaner-cracker asian hobag" by a 13yo in Halo 2.

Yeah, seriously.. halo 2 just got terrible. Match Making turned into a "Lets see who can cheat the most" competition. I mean, stand-bying, dummying, bridging, MODDING, etc... Erg, redonkulous. Though, dummying was pretty fun for glitching. Modding can be fun, but not in match making. People were also rediculously racist, sexest, prejudice, etc. Like I myself am half asian and half white. But, people say i look like a mexican. Theyd also refer to me as half breed (which is true) or "sp!ck" or "chynk"... erg....And id randomly join peoples rooms/games and theyd boot me. Right before theyd boot me, theyd say "Sorry, no asians".. or "sorry no mexicans" (im not even mexican ) or my personal favorite..have a game type that has the title "whites only". I have this friend whos g/t is "Los Ojos De Dio".. which translates to "The Eyes of God"... but it deffinetly sounds cooler in spanish. But anyways, when people see that, they randomly start calling this guy a mexican, or any other mexican racial slurs.. and its redonkulous. Especially since hes an over-weight, 6'7", white guy who still lives with his parents... but yeah.. sometimes people that know that im half asian dont let me drive any vehicles... ITS A F*CKING VIDEO GAME.... erg, ignorant a55holes if you ask me...

Oh yeah, wetsanding.. i wanna try taking a bath (havent done that in years *that sounds wrong*...im a shower person myself) and wet sand.. that would be pretty fun. Maybe throw in a tv, xbox live, some tunes.. maybe have like a sandwhich and a drink.. damn, its like a modding party in your tub.
