hmm, its too hard to pick a single game to call "best", but if i had to right now i guess i'd say chromehounds.

PDZ, Call of Duty2, GRAW, Kameo, Oblivion, Condemned, Prey all are worth mentioning though
Damaso
I would have to say Hitman Blood Money. It isnt the best graphically, but the Ai and physics are awesome.
redwolf
are you guys serious? chromehound and Hitmen huh.gif

i guess everyone has their own taste to define "best"

condemened and prey are my 2 favorites
alsybub
Table Tennis and G.R.A.W. Although I play BF2:MC -in my opinion an overlooked gem- more than both those games, I wouldn't count it though cos' it's just a port.
LANDON14
Gotta be.........Frogger. Yep, without a doubt, Frogger. blink.gif
The VGM
Fight Night or Moto GP 06. Both look stunning and are ridiculously fun IMO.
SkaterFreak829
I'd have to say chromehounds and oblivion.
mike_jacko
COD2,FN3
neoed30
FN3
Case-Mod-Extrordanare
oblivion, hands down.
no0b123
Oblivion- "open world" literaly. Its like a whole new planet on your X360 and you always have something new to do

GRAW- So real, soldiers could probably use this for training
Juelz
Lord of the rings and rumble roses i know rumble roses gameplay is wack but the girls are hot
Legendary Badass
PGR3, it has new car updates and great graphics. It is also challenging, but not perfect.
dalton4life
FN3 and Oblivion. Both are very different, but each great in what they do.
juanman
PGR3 Baby!
Skyblast
Oblivion, GRAW, Burnout: Revenge, and Dead or Alive 4 for me so far. Call of Duty 2 was also cool, but I haven't touched it since beating the single player once.
Achtung
without a doubt Oblivion, PGR3 and COD2
CattyKid
Moving to General Game Chat.

Oh, and Geometry Wars wink.gif
CreziB
cod 2. IMO, the current lineup is lame, but the future looks bright.
XBoxModder4ever
Thank you everyone who said Oblivion! That is an awesome game. Damn good friggin graphics, fun to do quests and steal from ppl and try not to get caught and stuff.

Then there's PGR3. That is best racing game yet for me. I like PGR games, easy to drift. Also, if you said PGR3 as your fav you get Kudos.....everyone who loves PGR3 get's Kudos.(In PGR you get kudos for drifting and stuff, but me and my friend's in real life, if were playing like halo and someone gets a killtacular, onne of us goes nice man, you get kudos, or something like that)

Also, my brother dowloaded a demo to BF2:MC, and it looked sweet, never got to play it yet though, gotta try it out.

And right now, I can just say it now, Halo 3....Halo games have their pro's and con's, but they're all good. I can see me now owning Bots that are on really freakin hard mode, lol.(There are rumors that you can have Bots, or AIs, in Halo 3. Actually it might not be a rumor, but I think it still is now, I don't think it is going to be confirmed till we get to play)
jkh13
Geometry wars!!! and doa4.
nickthegreat
XboxModder4ever - Thats what Kudos means - 'Respect' I think was the description in PGR1 (Greek as far as I can remember). But yeah PGR is good. BUT it has never achieved the heights of PGR1, nor has 3 as far as I can tell (haven't given it the chance it deserves admitedly).

-PGR2 gave you the option of being a pussy and doing it on a lower difficulty, so you never had to progress to the gaming heights that you did in the first to complete it. In PGR1 me and a mate got so good at it (through literally days of adictive and repetitive play) that when our headlights smashed out on a tokyo level we drove it in almost pitch black conditions without crashing. Not that "I must be cool" but I love games that keep you playing and challenged to the point where you become the daddy. Great learning curve in the first (too much variation in PGR2 cars perhaps spoilt this??)
Oh and MSR was massively unfinished/rubbish.

Speaking of challenged - COD2 on veteran. Jesus D-day was a fecking nightmare.

DOA4 - maybe, little disappointed graphically (look at soul calibur, or previous DOAs..... not a massive jump), and the counters seem a little weak (why forward + x too???) but this could be because of the speed. (shit MS Dpads don't help either.)

Table Tennis is the fucking daddy. All that needs to be said.

Other acceptable answers - oblivion, FN3, burnout (for funfactor rather than pushing any boundaries) and BF:MC2 (because its better online than GRAW and COD2). oh and condemned, good choice.

Reasons free speech should not exist - Rumble Roses, Chromehounds (fucking boring and slow - just draw a 'mech like' cockpit on your tv screen and put in COD2.)

yeah, ill shut up now.
edit: a mate just asked me - what was the name of the fighting game with the clown and the cow on the DC (i think)?
incognegro
PDZ, GRAW, Kameo, FN3, Oblivion, Uno, PGR3, Prey, Chromehounds, Codemned. Outfit was kinda decent.
dgrams2003
I really like TR, but to be honest, I get the most milage out of my 360
with Geometry Wars (how sad is that)
So, I guess GW gets the vote
ILLusions0fGrander
i say call of duty 2... condemned gets award for best unique gameplay.
t00faTT
Oblivion 110%.
Carlo210
I really liked the Battlefield 2:MS online Demo. Really fun.
I could imagine getting a good 12 player team and whatnot. Anywho, I don't see myself getting LIVE anytime soon, nor BF2:MC. Not because I don't like the game, but I can pass it along. Still lookng for something really good for online.
Mrcon
I have to say over g fighter- love the air combats, and call of duty 2- great graphics and really good game play.
incognegro
This shouldve been a poll dry.gif

good post, i agree pop.gif

BUT:GEOMETRY WARS ALLWAYS HAS A PLACE IN MY HEART! biggrin.gif tongue.gif
ocean the funk
i would have to say Uno, but for real i thik it might be Graw, the graphics are nice the gameplay is good.
gordita37
I think top on my list at the moment would have to be oblivion and prey. Although preys multiplayer is the worst, can never get a good connection, sometimes cant even find a game!!
PONG/GEEZER
I would have to say COD2 especially for the consistent quality of the MP (after the patch was released that is.......remember the 20 or 30 tries to get in a room only to have it lag out ohmy.gif ) and Oblivion for the sheer diversity of the entire game.
twistedsymphony
too many good games from so many genres that it's hard to pick a "best game"

FPS:
COD2 - one of the most forfilling single player experiences I've ever had in an FPS. playing through on Veteran was insane and made me fall in love with the series. I've heard it's awesome online though I've never played.
GRAW - Amazing Graphics, Amazing gamplay, Amazing amount of options
Prey - Simply awesome graphics and mind-bending level design. Fast gameplay definitly brings FPSs back to their Doom and Quake ROOTS. online play is hit or miss just be sure to host all your game or do a custom match and pick one with a good connection speed.

Fighting:
DOA4 The best DOA game to date, drop dead graphics, awesome twitch gamplay and more online options then you'll know what to do with. Online play is virtual lag-free and some of the best around
FNR3 Quite possibly some of the best looking graphics of any game... ever. Really unique gameplay for a boxing game, and lots of options to keep you playing.
Street Fighter II it's on the Xbox Live Arcade... it has online multiplayer... need I say more.

RPG:
Oblivion if you had to choose one game as the only game you could play for the next 4 months... choose this game. MASSIVE isn't a big enough word to describe it. Some of the best graphics the console has to offer so far and oodles of game there to play.
Final Fantasy XI A lot of people here don't like it but there is no denying that it's one of the biggest and best MMOs on the market today, with graphics comperable to that on the PC and the fact that you can play alongside the PC and PS2 players is reason enough for any MMO fan to pick this up. It's also aparently one of the more popular 360 titles despite the negative attension XSers give it.

Action/Adventure:
Condemned wins my prize as my favorite game on the console so far. AMAZING story, awesome graphics, unique gameplay, and just a really creapy game in general. Anything that can still give you the chills the 2nd play through certainly ranks as a scary game in my book.
Kameo Awesome graphics, really unique gamplay and very reminisent of the fantastic platformers we all know and love from the N64.
Tomb Raider Awesome graphics, classic gamplay that will remind you of a cross between the classic TR games and Prince of Persia sands of time. Plus enough hidden stuff to keep you playing for a while

Racing:
PGR3 Awesome graphics, buttery smooth gamplay, tons of amazing real cars and location, a track bulder to make your own custom routes through REAL cities, more online options then you'll know what to do with, not to mention I've never once EVER experienced lag with this game online... it seems to just be non-existant. If you're a dedicated racer there are always tournaments going on as well.
Burnout Revenge One of the most fun arcade racers I've ever played 100s of options for both online and offline gameplay both this and PGR3 will take you months to complete... if you ever complete them at all.

XBLA:
Geometry Wars I think that you should be required to buy this game if you own an Xbox 360... it's $5 and you should own it... that's all you need to know.
Marble Blast Ultra Remember Marble Madness... now make it 100 times more interesting, give it amazing graphics and realistic physics, a multiplayer mode, and charge only $10... now go buy it

Other:
R* Table Tennis A simple game but stupid fun... it makes table tennis as fast paced and technical as a top knotch fighting game
Chromehounds Build a completely custom mech and take it online where you'll partake in a full-scale world war between continents... wars last weeks and have real players in real time on all sides of the battle field.

... do you need me to keep going?

this isn't the Xbox 1... there isn't just Halo and then everything else. There are a lot of games in a lot of genres that are a whole lot of fun.
