ok so heres the problem, I can FTP and stream stuff from my desktop PC to the xbox with XMC using flashfxp and a linksys router. But when i try to connect to xbox live i get that there is no cable/dsl or router found. Also when im in XMC and i try to get system info and network info it says that i am not connected to the internet. I have tryed to connect the cable modem to the xbox and i still get the same errors. I also changed and the setting and dns settings


CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.

Alrighty, double check to make sure everything is DHCP setup OR properly set up for static IP, which sounds like your problem, FTP would mean you've got a good IP, but for whatever reason it's not working for XMC which gets it's own ip when it boots up as would XBL
