Someone please help; ever since the 07-09 release of XBMC and the 07-10 release of MC360 I cannot view movie trailers anymore. I get the following error when its looking for available trailers:
"Error while parsing new trailers"
"Error: tuple index out of range."
Now I'm not too sure what that means but when I exit after it gives me the error it'll say Saving Quicktime Browser file and then it just freezes there.
Now I always do a clean install when a new XBMC release comes out as well as re-install and re-download the MC360 so I've tried everything and it still won't work. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Very strange, I have edited my Video and Programs XML files to be able to use wide icons but when i use the original xml files it finds the list of trailers fine but when i try to select any of the trailers it wont play it just gets stuck at the screen where it says "Searching for available trailers for this movie" or something along those lines.....

Use file browser and run this...
skin/MC360/extras/QuickTimeBrowser/QuickTimeBrowser.py

It should do it's thing and kick you back to the actual movie trailers screen.

This helped me! If someone still have this problem... smile.gif

I'm getting the exact same error as the original poster, I've tried browsing the the quicktype file manually as mentioned and it does the same thing. I get the Error while parsing new trailers"
"Error: tuple index out of range." Then the browswer opens but cant find any trailers. If I try the update option it gives me the parsing error again. I seem to remember reading a fix a long time ago which involved removing some files from a certain folder. This worked but since formatting my xbox and reinstalling XBMC I can't find any info on it again.

Does anyone have a fix for this? Its funny how it was working, now all of a sudden, nothing. Did Apple do something to block this script?
