I mostly need the HDD adapter, i'm not planning on messing with opening the case. At least not till after I get a warranty replacement unit. I've had the 3 light ring of death since day one when I first power on the 360. Takes 2-3 tries of powering on and off to get it to boot up... but the HDD adapter could be really handy.
