I went through the necessary patching steps for X2 Wolverine's Revenge, but it says it doesn't need to be patched. I went into a hex editor and it was already using EB. The intro screen just freezes every time i play it.

to begin should i copy the XBCopy000 file to my c: and patch it from there, then drag the Default.xbe file over to the xbox?

If it kicks you back to the dashboard, it's a patching issue. If it freezes during loading, it's an IGR issue. Disable IGR and try again.

Also, this is a pre-patched pirated release. If you run into any more problems, re-rip from your original.

1. XBCopy
2. Transfer Default.xbe to PC
3. Patch it - there are now two string in which you must look for or you can just download an auto-patcher (Craxtion)
4. Transfer Patched Default.xbe back to xbox
5. Play

If this does not need to be patched then you either had an error backing it up and you should try again or you should TURN OFF IGR (IN GAME RESET) which is located in your evox.ini (3 Locations)
