Okay lets say I've flashed my hitachi with the Garyopa 1.3 7in1. Okay so he's releasing the xtreme 2.0v with the security sector read/dump.

my question is, do you restore your original firmware and then reflash, or can you reflash over the current 1.3 firmware with the soon to be released Garyopa xtreme 2.0v.?

Wait till it is released, and it will tell you. I usually restore it anyway, then flash the new firmware.
