Full Version: How Do I Back Up Orig Hitachi Firmware?

my drive is seen in windows and labled as F

ive read the forums and have a pdf file explaining how to backup.

problem is every time i type in the backup comand i get a error saying : memdump is not recognised as a internal or external command

i type the command from the hitachi v31 pdf

please help

You have to type the command in the directory in which the memdump.exe file is located.

i have memdump.exe in hard drive c and my hitachi dvd rom is labled as f

i then go into cmd and type c:\memdump> memdump_win F 12200 8 8000 firmware.bin

and now i get nothing??

please help as i cant go any further until my orig firmware is backed up!!
