you flashed the wrong size bios to the chip
make sure that you flash a 512kb bios not a 256kb
MasterMike123
so um...how do i fix it???
Julius Pleaser
you switch to the other bios bank to loader the other working bank, then just before it flashes with the new bios you switch it back to the bad bank for it to rewrite the bad bank

sad.gif but when it is on the working bank i get NO VIDEO OUTPUT but my xbox led is red? (thats linux bank 0)

so what can i do now????????????? ty for helping me
Julius Pleaser
Did you already try flashing both banks??? Cause you can load both banks just fine on everything except v1.6, and on that one you can load bank 0 just fine (cromwell), but can't load bank 1 (flashbios) and get the problem you described.
If you just mistaked the banks and you do have a 1.6, then it is really your own fault for flashing your only working bank.

THen it is already your own fault for flashing the only working bank. You will have to hot swap using another working chip. Next time do things properly and you won't ne asking for help.
When you only have 1 working bank, you always boot that bank, and flash the other bank. That way if you mess it up you still have the original bank to go back to.
