anyone know any good software to get propper tagging and album covers for an existing mp3 collection??? just bought a new dell w/media center and it doesn't like my library . any help is appreciated I've got about 78 gigs of music saved up so doing it manually is completely out of the question for obvious reasons. Also just looking to get a little more organized in the music department. thnx

I dont remember the name of the program I used, but it sounds like you are looking for an ID3 renamer? Do a search for ID3 tags on downloads.com and that should turn up a few programs that can work. You would need all the music to be at least tagged in either ID3v1 or v2 or all the music has to have properly formatted filenames and such, and it can automatically rename all the songs.

I was really looking for someone that has used a particular program with some degree of success. I'm not trying to just dive into my music collection thats been years collecting with some hack software.
