Hmm seems time warner has bought or merged with adelphia here in southern california. I've been looking to upgrade from my shitty ass verizon dsl to cable connection, just curious if anyone here has had expereicence with time warner

I used Time Warner's Roadrunner service. It's still called Roadrunner, but the company name has changed to Bright House Networks where I'm located. I didn't have any problems at all. I just don't care for the $44.95 per month part. Download/upload speeds are pretty good too.

yea roadrunner is cool my friend has it and i am soon to get it hopefuly... from what i have scene it is great but there was one time when i guess they went down (the main place) but only for a hour or so...

Go with TW.. Roadrunner is great. I've had it here for like 5 years and never had a prob that they didnt resolve in 24 hrs. My download is 600KBps and up at 50KBps.. pretty slow up but I rarely use that. Also here they offer 6months at 25$ and after that it hits 50$.. I've never payed 50$ for more than 5 months. What I do is call em up and be like, I'm a long time customer, I'm a student, I dont have much cash but I really love your service etc.. they always give me a discount. Right now I'm paying 35$ per month and its been like that for about a year lol. Whenever they change the bill I'll give em another call he he he.
