The led comes on but says MS under the big x and goes to the ms dashboard
ive tried different evox and xecuter bios and i tried with 256 512 and 1mb. I have the switches all set right.
i have a 1.0 xbit.
i opened it up again to try to get the d0 point to get better contact but the bios still won't boot

My guess would be that it is just bad contact with the D0, all I can advise is that you open the xbox up, clean and scrap the d0, carefully position the chip, and try again.
If it still doesnt work, you could solder the bottom d0 point?

it was a d0 probLem i got it working and i am posting this from x-dsl on my xbox
