I have a RCA amplifier that has the same codes as the xbox for off and volume etc. It is tending to be a major PIA because the volume control adjusts both the amp and the xbox at the same time.
I was looking at the xir v2 and noticed that it has IR learning capability - can anyone tell me if the newly learnt codes can be used for other functions other than on / off.
