hey i started messing around with evtool and i saw you could change your fan speed to 100% is this safe? will my xbox sound messed up? someone please let me know.

Your XBOX will be about twice as loud as normal, but will also run alot cooler. And remember, If you don't want to mod your BIOS you can always run the fan's ground wire directly to another ground point on the motherboard to force the fan to run at 12v. I usually do this mod for all of my customers, along with regreasing both the CPU and GPU heatsinks with Artic Silver 5.

So yes, it is safe, but your XBOX will be alot louder.

I modded my buddies box and used the XBMC dash to run the fan at 100% sounded like a damn aircraft carrier taking off. lol Then i put a big black fatchick as the background and gave it back to him that way. I didnt tell him how to change anything. I let him figure it all out LMFAO!!
