I have spent some time putting all the mods I like most together so all the functions work from all the mods. Including adding extra buttons and logos. So all options should be available. I also added added a dashboards button on the games blade to go with games, emulators, game save manager, and applications.

1.) I used the logo mod I from dhrandy1.. and added logos to the system blade and xbmc live blade.

2.) This is the latest MC360 skin MC360forXBMC-098691-9thAugust2006

3.) Also the latest LiveMark mod from XBMC Live LiveMark-0.653-11/08/2006 and mc360_NoKai_mod from Jezz X.

4.) Switch between kai blade and extras blade by going to the mc360 guide or hitting start, personal settings, options, and disable or enable kai info.

These are not my mods, I just put them together and made them work with each other, with a couple of extra tweaks I liked.

Hope you like it,

Hi. I have d/loaded your mod, great work putting them all together. I have only 1 problem, my dashboards button doesnt go to my dashboards folder. I have tried everything i know (which is not a lot) but still no joy. Any help would be great. I know its probably something really simple but i'm stuck.

Thanks

PS I have also added the lyrics mod and the temperature mod to your mod.

Did it work before?

Sexy_Patrick
it has to do with an xml file and a directory... the xml file has the location of where it looks im assuming its E:/Dashboards But im not sure I tried adding something similar to unleash ... But thats what im assuming

im sure someone will agree or dissagree with me

the dashboards button shouldn't go to a folder, but actually load an alternate dashboard. this file is defined in your settings. if you are using mc360, i thik it might be under system or programs in the settings section, forget which.
Sexy_Patrick
thats what i thought but mine by defult goes to Ms Dash... but with the dashboard button on this mod doesnt do anything but go to the file viewer so that makes me think that its looking for a folder (ie. E:/Dashboards)
Cause with my mod there is a folder called Dashboard and it doesnt even see that...

That is exactly my problem. When i click in the dashboards button it goes to the root of e: drive and shows the , games and emulators folder. I have a folder called Dashboards but it dosn,t see it. I have looked in the xml file and this is what i get:

<control>
<description>Dashboards Push Button</description>
<type>button</type>
<id>8</id>
<posx>112</posx>
<posy>180</posy>
<width>281</width>
<height>270</height>
<onleft>1</onleft>
<onright>2</onright>
<onup>7</onup>
<ondown>9</ondown>
<texturefocus>homebutton-4a.png</texturefocus>
<texturenofocus>-</texturenofocus>
<pulseonselect>no</pulseonselect>
<onclick>XBMC.ActivateWindow(1,Dashboards)</onclick>
<visible>!Control.HasFocus(1) + !Control.HasFocus(2)</visible>
<animation effect="fade" time="100">WindowOpen</animation>
</control>

Its the (1,Dashboards) bit it think cos' in the games bit of the xml it says (1,Games) and that opens my games folder...............Hmmmmmmm
manturafs
ahh, that's the problem. if you want it to download your alternate dashboard as defined in the settings of xbmc, then change the onclick to XBMC.Dashboard(). nothing in the parantheses. that should load the dashboard then. what xml file are you looking at?
chorton
I think if you go to where you see the emulators, games, and programs folders, and choose add source (where your dashboards are located) and then make sure to name it Dashboards it will start opening that directory. I think.
chorton
If you don't want dashboards on your games home screen just replace this file. (e.g. MC360/PAL/custom1112_GamesHome.xml)

AH HAAA Thank you Chorton. How could i forget about the ADD SOURCE option. It worked perfectly!!!! Now when i click on Dashboards up pops my dashboards folder listing all the dashs!!!!!!!! Oh well i am a 30yr old Englishman whos too stoned to remember simple things like add source.
Thanks to all who helped.

These mods should be added to official release. It cant be that hard to make them all configurable (on or off?) in the settings menu. Just a thought.........

Nice I just added it and I love it. Thanks for putting it together
