I am using a connectivity kit to get my hitachi into modeb. I power on my PC with the debug button pressed down (the light is red). I am not sure wether the drive is showing in windows or not. So, I went into my computer and "Manage" and there was only 1 drive showing so I assigned it letter Q. When I go into my computer though I see drive Q as well as F and G (both show as DVD drives), but the xbox drive is the only 1 connected. I then run the flash.bat file on all three drives and it also says that the Hitachi drive build was not detected. Any ideas?

I have determined that the drive is not getting recognized in windows. I have THIS pci card. I suspect it might be the drivers. Where can I find the appropriate drivers for this card? My current driver shows as: 5.1.2600.530

Are you telling me that the 6421L card simply wont work with the 47DJ drive?
krayzie
it works fine. Just don't power on the 360 before you see the windows loading screen.

I have the same card. It works great.

He's not using the 360 to power the drive.

Might be worth waiting until Windows has booted completely before plugging power into the connectivity kit. This works for me, albeit using a USB-SATA adapter from eBay (search eBay for ISLB). I couldn't get my onboard 6421 to work with Hitachi.
