I've been walking around for nearly 3 hours (real life time not oblivions hehe) and I'm totally confused by this gate. Its the one outside chorrol.

Dead center is the Portals of natural disaster, all around that one are other towers called tsunami, hurricane, tornado, eruption, earthquake and landslide.

I've been up them all, flicked every switch and now im getting really tired of trying to figure out what to do next.

Can anyone shed a little light ?

Sorry for the late response, my fix was pretty simple really, I just kept missing the turning in the main active portal.

if that's the same one as i remember, it should be the same one as next to the inn of ill omen..and i got confused at first as well..i didnt know what switching those did, as it turned out, it unlocked doors outside for me to get to the lower-level towers that connect to the central one showing more switches..and from there it was gravy. confusing shit though at first

There's a dead fast way to do that gate in 5 - 10 minutes. Go into the first mini tower, go to the top, flick the switch, go across the bridge to the main tower and jump over the railing in front to the level below. Go through the rending halls and follow it to the top. Cuts out the need for all the other mini towers.
