Hey, since im having trouble finding a bootable media to boot mtkflash from, i was wondering. Im using a samsung drive and im going to flash with xtreme 3.0. I have the xecuter connectivity kit which i believe will allow windows to recognize the drive when its in debug mode. So could i put it in debug mode, then run mtkflash through a cmd prompt in windows, without the need for a floppy/usb stick. Thanks

which type of drive do you have?
If you have a samsung you will need to use mtkflash in dos. There is not a debug mode for samsung drives. The samsung drive will only be recognized in windows after flashing it with extreme008.bin
If you have a hitachi drive, you will need to put the drive in mode b (debug mode) and have the drive detected in windows to flash it.
