Ok, so i got banned from matchmaking on xbox live with a modded xbox, and i didnt even play matchmaking, i thought it was in safe mode, as i was using unleashx. anyways, i was wondering if i replace my existing eeprom with a different one, will i be unbanned from matchmaking? and, if i replace all my modded maps with defaults, uninstall the softmod, delete my gamertag from my xbox, will i be able to start xbox live with a brand new gamertag, for no extra charge? i really miss matchmaking!

i know, but see, i have tried desperately to get matchmaking back (looking up helpless tuts for hours on end), and i was planning on getting rid of the softmod, cause it got boring after a month with it. all im asking is some little advice. and, like i said, i only played custom games with mods, and never played matchmaking with the softmod on my xbox. I was just banned from it cause bungie probable tracked my ip address or something.

In all honesty, the kindest advice you're going to get here is that you're in the wrong place.
