Hi Everyone,
I've been looking for any info on the phillips DVD drive, and I can't find any guides on how to adjust the laser in theses DVD drives.
Is there a way that this can be done like it can be done with the thomson DVD drives? If anyone has a link to a guide, or can shove me in the direction of a guide that'd be great.
Cheers

Just replace the laser. They are not hard to install, and they are not too very expensive.

Ya I've done it and it works great. Plays DVD-R's no problem now. I'm sure Halosucks sent you the "How to". Just be pretty carefull with the laser track. I removed the eye from the track then adjusted the Pot resistor. Adjust as close to 500 as possible. You only need to turn the screw just a tiny bit back and forth till you come close. I suggest a digital Multi-Meter.
