I've only gotten the infinite loading screen twice. Usually I get the unreadable disc error at least once a day. My question is if there is a sure fire way to fix this? I don't think its an over heating issue, it will crash right from startup with a cool 360 so I don't think adding more fans will help. Has anyone had success with just clearing the cache? I really don't want to reformat my HD and lose all my save games. I really can't justify $40 on a 64MB memory card just so I can play this game.

I really want to get into infinite mode but I don't want to waste my time and have it crash on me 11 hours into it. Is there any news on an update down the road?

Also is it just my game or does using a custom soundtrack disable the sound during cut scenes?

I hear ya.. the dde's are freakin driving me insane.. I can always tell when its gonna happen too. The disc spins down and I hear, click, click click, click and bam! dde. So annoying. Game developers should take the dde problem into consideration when making games. IMO we should be able to save anytime we want in any game. To answer your question, I doubt there is anything you could do to stop it from happening. I'm just hoping one day soon we'll be able to back games up to the hdd and end the bloody dde bullshyte. I love playing games off my hdd on my old xbox.

I've had both errors, too.

I know for a fact that my dirty disc error is from overheating, but the infinite loading screen, I don't know. I've had that maybe two times.

My 360 is in a tight cabinet that has fans built into the back. If I forget to turn the cabinet's fans on, then I get the dirty disc problem. Turn the fans on, no problem.

Just beat the game, And no lockups at all and Ive had my 360 on for at least 2 days.

Thanks for the input Deadpool but I'm pretty sure none of the errors are due to overheating. As I said it seems random sometimes happening right when the 360 has just been turned on with the 360 in a well ventilated area. The 360 would be cool to the touch and it would still happen.

The problem seems somewhat common as I see threads on this in other forums. One would think something is being done to fix the problem, along with the small text for the non-HD users.

If I paid for this game I would be pretty upset I think I'll just return this to gamefly and get something else until it is fixed. I refuse to reformat until I find a sucker who bought a memory card and will let me borrow it.

Its weird that this is the only game to give me problems with my 360. If this keeps happening with other games and when my warranty runs out I'm going to water cool this sucker.

I started getting errors after I played Chromehounds.. So I went to EBgames and picked up an Intercooler. ever since I got that plugged in, no errors, no freezing, no crashing.

Like I said I doubt it's a heat problem. Good air flow on a cold night when I just started playing and I would get errors. People are having some success with formatting the hard drive or just playing off of a memory card but the last thing I want to do is spend money to get this to work so.

Good plug for EBGames and the intercooler though.
