hi im new at this but im not a complete noob, i did some research. but i still cant figure out why my front panel is overheating, i spent about 8-10 hours workin on this piece of crap (i never give up) i got it to work once but i had to shut the xbox down because the padding on the back of the front panel started to melt. can anyone please help me? thanks

Maybe one of your wires is in the wrong spot. blink.gif

Same thing happens to people with the X3. They mistakenly run the eject/reset switch to the 5v connector & fry their p/e PCB.

Double check your wire locations.
