Is there anyone that can help me soft mod my Regular Xbox? And also can you go online using a soft mod without getting banned? And if not can I undo it so I can go online? What I'm basically trying to do is soft mod my Xbox to play a game then un-mod my xbox so I can go online later on.

modding on xbox live is not allowed but u can in create game only but if by accident u have a map modded and u get it in MM u will get banned...soft modding is not worth it if u wanna use live just stik to live modding in mi opinion gets boring and is a bitch to do im tryin to unmod mi box now i was just like u before a fool lol j\k but unknown to how long and hard it is to do a soft mod(ha ha ha long and hard)

Yes, if u want, but it is alot of hassle to softmod the xbox and un-softmod it again to play on live. Coldbooting is alot quicker.

Use Krayzies Ndure 1.1 Softmod. The one I use is for Splinter Cell and I havent had any problems with it.
Remember to:
Backup your eeprom (Krayzies Softmod wont let u continue the install of the softmod without u backing it up to the xbox (its part of the install process) but u should also store it on your computer as well via ftp)
Backup your C: and E: drives.
DO NOT unlock your hard drive.

You can get Krayzies Ndure 1.1 Softmod among other things through xbins.
