I have cs2 and somehow i changed the dropper to change background color instead of the current tool color and i dont know how to change it back.

Not exactly sure what you mean but try going to Window>Tool Presets
then on that little tab that pops up, click the little arrow button next to the word "Tool Presets" and reset all tools. See if that works.

make sure sticky keys isn't on..(just tap shift 5 times and make sure it's off). and make sure your alt key isn't stuck..

yeah, that should deactive sticky keyes... and if that stil isn't your problem, try going to edit->preferences, and see if any settings there are out of place.

it's ur mouse bro... try changing batteries, if it's wireless, unplug and replug if it's wired...or just smack on desk a few times...sounds like the buttons are stuck or something.......goodluck

Check to see if your Ctrl key is stuck because, by default, holding Ctrl when clicking a swatch will change the background color.

yea I tried that in a car, while on my roadtrip out west. Doing photomerges on a bad dirt road with a touch pad gets quite quite frustrating

my laptop has a trackpoint on it and i use it for photoshop its not that hard once u get used to it

The touch pad isnt that bad, it is all i really have used for 2 years now. you get used to it.
