i just flashed my hitachi and have a hp dvd640 drive connected to my 1394 port and it when i burned madden with a memorex dl dvd @ 2.4x in clonecd it didnt work and when i tried it in imgburn it didnt work, so has there been dvd dl drives that have reported not to work or am i doing something wrong? and i'm sure i flashed it right.

what method di you use to backup? did you patch it?
