Ok so im think about swapping my hd but when i read up on it, it said that the biggest drive you could add was 137 gb, but i see that alot of people have drives way larger than that. Does the 137 gb limit on pertain to a softmodded box, or does it also pertain to a hard mod.

its about the bios you are using. hard mods do not have a concern with HD size until after 250.

softmods need a proper bfm bios that is lba48 enabled.

So if I have my box modded with an x3 and the latest x3 bios, i can have any size hd I want

Yes, they support LBA48, or HDDs past 137 GB. Now, you can have it in 2 modes.
.06 means that all extra space goes to the F drive.
.67 means that all space above 137GB goes to the G drive.
