Exactly, and garyopa is newer, so you will have the latest version.

its ok having the Gary-OPA-XTREME-HITACHI-7IN1-V2_1 but how do you do it i have read and read and read and read do i follow a guide or is it better to follow the read me file that come with the firmware. cheers

Get yoru drive into modeB ( slax, crosswire, connectivity kit) and then boot windows. get into your command prompt, navigate to your files are. type flash21.bat (whatever your drive letter it) (any random 4 digit number).
Example.
flash21.bat H 1573

will that little guide you tell me back up my firmware aswell. at the same time remeber its unmodified drive it will be its first time i dont want to brick it

hello guys i just opened my xbox360 what a job that was i have the hitachi v47dj is this any good for it cause im gonna modifi it it will be its first time

your version is good all the features of the firmware will work fine on your version
check this video it shows step by step on how to modify your firmware using the connectivity kit

people say the top one in the forums and the read me file off the firmware say the bottom one im confuesd plz help me which one thanks

should be bottem one, in DOS you have to type in the extension

in cmd you have to locate the folder of the firmware the x-lg folder
so go to cmd and type cd and the destiniation of the folder
eg

then type flash21 (drive letter) (4random numbers)
