I apologize for the terrible quality. My camera is not very good in macromode and I felt they got the point across. The blue varistor is labeled VR501 on the PCB, on the varistor itself it has b1024. The image up top is the only other damage I can find and those brown spots are a tad blacker in reality. It does look like the solder joint came loose so I will be resoldering that. Up top is a green disk capacitor that had some charge in it, a very small amount but enough to convince me it probably isn't blown. The PSU itself is a Delta. Anyone know if ratshack carries a comparable part or the part # for digi-key?

there is nothing wrong with that resistor, its just some glue they put on top of it to lock the value in place. Done in the factory.

I couldn't get any resistance values out of it, so maybe I jumped the gun a bit. It also spun freely, aiding to my assumption of a meltdown. Thanks, I'll go scour it for fuses that might be blown.
