I happen to have the game already and have been playing it for a while. For starters, I have about 17 games, I get reports of glitches on games and dont usually see them. Today I have seen too many on Saints Row.

Reproducable Glitches:
#1: After playing for a while (10-20 minutes), one cannot load a (previous) save from mid game.

#2: If one uses the vehicle for a while the car become immobile and then one will simply fall off the map, and see the map above them. (This glitch happened twice in a period of 5 minutes!)

Both Glitch #1 & #2 freeze up even if one would go to the game main menu, one would have to know of the glitch then go back to the dashboard and then come back in with a hopefully saved game from earlier.

I dont know what to say else about this game but I had the Highest of expectations for this game because the demo seemed legit but now with these glitches it makes me wonder if this is another bad game for the xbox 360.

Dont know if it is worth it to spend $60 bucks for this glitchy game but at least I will never get in that boat because I get all the 360 games for free!

Capcom is not a glitchy dev, there was nothing wrong with DR. RE4 was the best game in recent history.

I said SR had glitches starting in the demo, and they haven't fixed them, it is very glitchy. Read my thread below yours.

Dead Rising not Glitchy, it causes 360's to perminately die. Haven't you been reading the news?

Only defective ones, it's not the game's fault.

Been playing Dead Rising for a little while and nothing's happened with my 360. Also to me it's not glitchy at all.

I'll be getting Saints Row tomorrow from reserve and if the said glitches are true, hopefully they'll get patched with updates for the game

maybe you had bad luck I dont know. I was playing it for 3 hours now and I have no come across #1 or #2.

I've been playing for hours without a single problem.

Dead Rising hasnt done a thing to my 360. GRAW on the other hand, killed my first one.

i play graw, saints row and dead rising on my 360 and nothing has happened to it other than freezing a couple of times(10 max) since i've had it, and i havn't seen any glitches in any games other than saints row and the only glitchs i get is the roads, building, cars, stc. disappearing and then reappearing after a few seconds and the direction indicator not working right(tell me to go the wrong way)

The glitch I get in Saints Row is:

I save a game at a legitimate time at the Saints Row crib(Sometimes if you save, it will tell you it can only save to the last checkpoint but this was not the case). Then when I go to load the game, it takes me back several checkpoints! I completed two activities and now gotta do them over!

The road dissapeard and the car that I'm driving dissapeard simultaneously. Only happened once, no big deal for now.

the save system in this game is really horrible, i really havent faced many other bugs apart from disappearing roads which happened for a second or few and than everything was okay

Well completed about 15 percent of the game with a few hrs of play and cant say I have seen one glitch or save game issue. PAL version here.

saints row has been glitching for me like a son of a bitch lately... sometimes the car im driving disappears, the sound cuts out, peoples clothes change color.. other cars disappear.. thats about it for now.

i guess SR was waiting for me to post my reply lately i am facing wierd problems ... one big pain in behind problem is when i am trying to defend a terriotry

i am fighting those LT's and than i go to the other ones and i get that 30 second thingie even when i am there and fighting them and than it says that mission fail ... i press okay and still keep on fighting ... i fought for like 30 freaking mins and those bloody LT's kept respawning again and again and again ... i had to shut down my console in uter frustration

I'm getting the exact same bug as you. At first it would only happen every once in a while now it happens constantly.

it might be me but as you progress in the game you also progress in glitches ... at the start of the game i was reading this thread and was wondering why everyone facing these problems thanks godness i havent seen them, but now around 20+ % in the game every other problem mentioned here is too common for me as well

some of the very frequent one's lately are

1. stuck in car
2. road disappear
3. freeze
4. lost sound and music

and the latest glitch i have came across is so wierd that i literally havent touched the game in past 2 days

I can't load my save games, when ever i try to load my save games i get returned to the darn main menu

blah ... it was nice till it lasted ....

ive had the road dissapear for a split second once but that was it and ive played over 20 hours.

Ok you can add me to the list now. Man I thought I was one of the lucky ones. Nope. I've never had any problems with any games until Glitch row. Now some of these problems are understandable like roads not loading fast enough or glitchy map arrows, but freezing constantly 45% into the game and now I can't play for more than 10 mins. I think my 360 is now dying. I haven't had the RORL's yet but I fear it is coming. Oh well.

Ok it seems it was a little bit of both. I redid the heatsink compound on the heatsinks. My gpu had the foil on it so I removed it and it is working better now. It also seems that one of the carnales strongholds is freezing up my system. Nothing else is freezing it up now. hmm I fear doing that mission now. We'll see.

ive yet to have any problems as far as loading or feezing up, im only at 32% though. hopefully it doesnt give me any beef. i have a launch day 360 and it has only froze up on once, and that was in full auto demo

My little brother got this exact same thing 2nd day he got the game, I think he started a new game then tried to load from ingame and it worked I think, I'll ask him what he did when he gets home from school if you havn't figured out something already.

please do let me know what your brother did i havent bothered putting in the disc of SR for like 3 days now

I was just playing this game and I literally fell off the map, the character fell as if tripping over a kerb and then was just surrounded by unshaded building models which were above him and no scenery and I couldnt move off one spot.

I don't know if anybody has come across this before, I did take a couple of pics though.

maybe you shoulkd have bought the 3 dollar canadian insurance on your game at EBgames, and go get a new one, my game works fine, i dont glitch at all, stop complaingin and play a great game the wat its supposed to be polayed, maybe you should resist from takign the disc out and scratching it along the floor...then it would work!

2. this is open forum and everyone is allowed to share their set of problems ( or atleast the title of the thread suggests that )
3. as a customer its my right to complain about something if i dont like or am not satisifed
4. i believe in things working properly straight out of the box, i have other things in the world to do than go and again and again to the game shop to get the game exchanged endless amounts of time
5. it was stupid IMHO to scratch the disc on your part ... i am presuming that you are sharing your own experience ? if not than pardon me

unfortunatly it seems that the xbox 360 has emotions like real people (maybe they stole the Emotion engine from sony hehe) some games work great for some people and not good for others, and a large majority of the ones with problems is simply not their fault. accept the fact that there are issues. im glad it works great for you, but dont bash the people with unexplained issues.

the only thing thats happened is the roads sometimes not loading fast enough but i dont care about that. ive also had some slowdown during the mission where you protect the church from the Carnales. there were 5 or 6 cars of theirs and i took out a rocket launcher and shot it in the middle and all the cars blew up and all the explosions caused a little bit of slowdown lol

hha no i havent scratched mine, im one of the lucky people, ive only frozen 2 times, and not been able to sprint for liek 5 mins one time, other than thta, my game has worked great, and im done the game now!! i lovew it...ands always will....great game...maybe the update will come sooooon...?

I just wait to buy the game used from gamestop and return within 7 days for complete refund. The 360 situation is still too new to dump tons of $$$ into. so I buy used.

Well I am 32% into the game. There have been some glitches that seem to be getting a little worse. At first it was just once or twice a session. Now it happens maybe 10 times in a two hour session. It has not been unplayable and not freezing at all yet. Mainly just graphical glidtches that flicker and then go away. On one burgurlary, where you take the stuff to the pawn shop, I walked into an open door that I don't think should have been. It looked like a prop from the other side. It was real weird. I did get stuck in the car once. I was able to save and restart though. It does freeze if I try to do anything on the live menu when the game is first loading up. I hope the increasing graphic glitches is related to more crap in the save game file so slower read/writes. It also maybe the laser weakening (dvd-dl)
