I know this has been asked 1000 times, but I've been reading threads for hours and still haven't found the info I need.
Ok, I completely bricked a Hitach drive. I need to know what my options are to fix it. Would any of the "modchips" fix this? I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron, but I don't think I could completly desolder and resolder the firmware chip, not to mention I don't have a programmer. Would anyone be willing to desolder flash and resolder my firmware chip? How much would you charge? Any help would be very appreciated.
