Saw a pack of 10 at amazon for $20.

I couldn't get them cos I live in Australia and they had shipping restrictions on that item. mad.gif

I go to the Microcenter center store near me and buy them there. They always have awesome Verbatim prices. Right now it's $29.99 for a 20 pack.

I've been buying all my media from Supermediastore.com for the last couple years. They have great prices, free shipping on a lot of their media and its never any fake rebranded stuff.

Meritline.com is good, just bought some and it took 2 days for them to ship and another day for it to arrive via ups. A 20pack is $41.50 without the shipping charge. It seems like the above link for microcenter.com is tits

Yeah Microcenter usually beats everyone all the time with their Verbatim sales which last months at a time. I don't know how they do it and I don't care. Plus I don't have to deal with shipping, but even with shipping they are hard to beat.

I've only been buying printable Verbatim DVD+R DL disks. I've been buying them from newegg. Supermedia store has a rebate on them but I would rather pay the extra $10 than mess with the rebates right now.

That microcenter price is really good. Too bad they don't have the 6x printables at a similar price or I woulda stocked up now.

Honestly I would hold off for newegg to get them back in stock or another in-store special as you will get a much better deal than anything else (assuming you can't go the microcenter route). Supermediastore and meritline are generally overpriced (not to mention I would trust newegg's customer service long before either of those two). According to newegg these discs should be back in on Monday:

These are right around the $2 mark after shipping but are an option if you are really desperate:

2x at Micro Center vs. 8x at Newegg for the same price? You're kidding right? I think I can wait the ONE business day that Newegg estimates.

Not one coaster from my last two cakes of this 8x media that drips gold. And yes I burn at 8x (15 minutes) with no problems.

Nah, it's the same media it's just different in how they rate it. The deal is that officially this media is rated at 2.4x but most late model burners will burn it just fine at 8x. The official 8x rated Verbatims come in 5 packs and in an orange box.

My pioneer burns the 2.4x verbatims in 16 mins flat each time. The average speed that clonecd reports is 5.6x

No those are two 10 pack spindles. So unless they are throwing in some slim cases then you aren't getting them.
