i can't run FF7 in pcsxbox 1.6. it either freezes at the loading screen after i pick the game or at a blank screen after that. but it runs fine minus some sound glitches in 1.3. is there any way i can get this to run in 1.6?

running with 1001 bios and all the settings are the same between the 2 but it wont run on 1.6. FF9 works fine though....im clueless

As I replied in the Final Fantasy Fix Thread,

Set it to use the 1.4 core with Frameskipping off, Old Frameskipping on(dunno if this is needed), framelimit on and unmap throttle.

Also, for the Sound Timer Method, if you want a small speedup but slightly jittery sound, set to threaded, if you want smooth sound(except during framerate slowdowns obviously) use original.

I've done that. nothing works.
