Has anyone had any problems with certain media brands? Do Ritek brand disks work in the 360? Any issues with +R vs. -R?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm using xtreme 2.0 on a hlg and it boots every kind of media I've put in it (Ritek, Datasafe, Rivision and Verb).

I got these discs for $33 shipped (free s/h last week). They work great for my TS drive w/ xtreme 1.0 (still)
There was supposed to be a $10 rebate when I ordered these discs, received no paperwork on that....but still am happy w/ 20 discs for $33.00

People seem to have good luck with Verbatim DVD+R DL

I haven't had any problems with Maxell DL. I use a Mad Dog/NEC burner.

theres 101 threads on this already.

use verbatims or wonder why you get DDEs in a couple months, your choice.

Yup, Verbatim D/L DVD+R as a whole are by far the most versatile and compatible D/L media out there. Ritek like most of their media as of late produces very mixed results. It depends on where you live but at least here in the US, it's not worth bothering with any other media when Verbatim can be had for the same price or less than cheap quality D/L media if you keep an eye out for specials.
