ok well i installed my xecuter 3 modchip in fine as a daisy, i put an evox bios in it. but i cant seem to connect 2 my xbox using flashfxp, can someone give me help.

Just wondering if you installed an x3 why you put an evox bios on it, why not use the bios for the x3? if you had you would have got to the x3 config live screen and would have been alot easier than what you are going to have to do now.

As you have no dash on your xbox that allows ftp you will need to download slayers or AID3 from the usual places. (its a 150mb file!)

Once you placed it onto dvd format place it into your xbox and install evox on C:\ then reboot your xbox, you will have the evox dash come up, set up your network settings then you will be able to ftp using flash.

OR you could reflash your x3 with the x3 bios (X3.3294) and ftp straight into the x3cl screen and then place all your dash's etc on!

Ok, time for my all-time-favorite feature of the X3, the backup Bios.

Like WizBit said, you should have flashed the chip with an X3 bios. So, that's what you should do. Hold in the power and reset buttons for 2 seconds to boot to the backup bios. Then use your preferred method to flash the X3 bios to the chip (I prefer http flashing). If you need help with flashing check my sig.

ps - Once you have flashed with the X3 bios, reboot to it. Your ip address will be listed on the screen. You can ftp to your box now using the username: x3 and password: x3
