apparently the Mod who closed my thread didnt read it properly. the disc that is scratched that im trying to get the ss for and find out about is the Halo2 not the need for speed. please re-read my thread as i am still trying to fix this problem.....

Thread stays closed for 2 reasons. Neither of them the one I cited. (I did think you had thrown away Halo 2)
1. No talk of getting SS (copyright) files from the internet.
2. You topic is a sidestep asking how to get a working backup from a backup without outright asking it.
If you cannot extract the SS from the original disc then you need to obtain anew copy of Halo 2.
Is it worth backing this up Now? It's for sale in Morrsisons locally here for £6.99.
Any further threads you make , should not include any Backing up from a backup or distribution/downloading SS from the net.
You should also PM me if you think I closed a thread in error (I do make mistakes, contrary to what you may have heard I am almost human). Do not make a thread asking why.
