I got the game today and saw a card inside the case about referring a friend to get 2 free cars (and a card to use to get 48 free hours of Live Gold....wow).

How does this work? Is there any code i'm supposed to be looking for in the manual?

I downloaded the cars. Seems like you still have to pay for them.

Just means you have the option of buying them, which other people don't.

In the UK if you pre-ordered from PLAY.COM you were given a redeem code for xbox LIVE.

I just went on there and downloaded the file.

As far as I know it's the same pack you guys will be getting in the US.

It gives you the Gallardo Coupe, R34 Skyline and an Audi.

Play.com told me the code would probably not work till the 13th but it worked when I tried it.

The thing says I get a McLaren F1 and the Zonda...

When I downloaded it said that I was downloading pack 2. So there is more than one free pack.

The Uk part explains it. I just checked the US site and the damn thing is still down.
