Hello,

After many attempts I have finally managed to flash my Hitachi with OPA-XTREME-HITACHI-7IN1-V2_1.
The flash went fine (all 9 steps) and ended in a message "Done, you can now Shut down your system" or something equivalent.
My friend have a flashed 360 with a Samsung dvd-rom, i borrowed one of his burned games (burned with his NEC dwdrw on Verbatim DL DVD+R disc) but it did not start on my xbox, after a bit of reading i got a message saying that I should clean the disc..
Is there a known issue with NEC burner and hitachi?
I dont have a DL burner myself yet, but which one should I buy that would work best with my Hitachi?

Btw, after i flashed my dvd it became alot louder, is this normal?

Not surprising as there are issues with NEC burners and the Hitachi drives. The Pioneer 111D or one of the late model Lite-Ons would be my recommendation.
